Privacy policy

The short version: LoadOut keeps everything you put into it in Chrome's storage on your own computer. There are no accounts, no LoadOut servers, no analytics and no ads, and nothing you store in LoadOut is sent to us or anyone else. The only personal information we ever receive is an email address, and only if you choose to join the early-access list on this website.
What the extension stores, and where
LoadOut saves your spaces, projects, modes, links, snippets, notes, next actions, saved tab sessions, saved pages, time entries and settings using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). That data stays on your device, inside your Chrome profile. It is not synced to other devices and is not accessible to DahVio Studios.
Backup files you export are saved wherever you choose on your computer. We never see them. Uninstalling the extension deletes its stored data from Chrome.
What the extension sends over the network
Nothing to us: LoadOut has no servers, and the extension contains no analytics, crash reporting or advertising code. Its fonts and icons are bundled inside the extension, and site icons are shown using Chrome's built-in favicon service rather than a third-party lookup.
When you open a link, workspace or search from LoadOut, Chrome loads that website as it normally would, and that website's own privacy policy applies. The optional "Search Google Drive" and "Search Gmail" shortcuts simply open those Google sites with your search term.
Chrome permissions and why LoadOut needs them

| Bookmarks (optional) | Only requested the first time you choose to add links from your bookmarks or start a project from a bookmark folder. Bookmarks are read inside your browser and never sent anywhere. |
LoadOut also replaces your new tab page, adds keyboard shortcuts, and adds the lo keyword to Chrome's address bar. None of these involve collecting data.
This website and the early-access list
If you join the early-access list, the email address you enter is sent to Formspree, the service that processes our signup form. We use it only to email you about LoadOut, such as when it's ready to install. We don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Like any website, our host (Vercel) may process standard technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Chrome Web Store user data policy
LoadOut's use of information received through Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
LoadOut isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
